As per the Society Bylaws:

• Membership Types:

1- Full Membership (Economics Qualification)

2- Associate Membership (Other Qualifications - Items 1,2,5,6 below)

• Membership Criteria:

A membership of the society is subject to the following conditions:

1- S/he should not be less than 18 years of age.

2- S/he should be a resident of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

3- Should hold at least a University Degree in Economics.

4- The society may offer memberships to the holders of M.A. and Ph.D in subjects directly related to the Economic Science and have carried out research and studies in economics.

5- S/he should be reputed for her/his good conduct and behaviour and should not have been convicted for any felony or crime affecting her/his honour or integrity unless s/he has been reinstated.

6- Should work in the field of economics and contribute to economic development.
